Celebration of John Clarke, A

Presented by Cinema Nova and Readings. Tuesday December 12 – 6.15pm. A celebratory event, looking at the life and work of the legendary satirist/actor/writer/comedian and Nova favourite John Clarke, who sadly passed away this year. Clarke’s daughter Lorin, an ABC radio regular, author, script editor and theatre-maker, will chat with author/cartoonist/broadcaster and long-time friend Kaz Cooke about what made John so special – and allowed him to frequently channel our collective bewilderment into his sharply observant comedy. Entry is $35 per person and includes a copy of Tinkering: The Complete Book of John Clarke which features his writing for radio, television, stage and screen, as well some previously unpublished pieces. Tickets available from the Readings website. https://www.readings.com.au/event/lorin-clarke-and-kaz-cooke-remember-john-clarke
